Very nice place for Special events. Both my wife and I loved the food and the service. It was her birthday so she got a special treat too. Best fine dining meal I've had on the AL coast.

We arrived about 5:30 and were immediately greeted...We sat down to a near empty restaurant, and hoped it wasn't because of the food. We were served corn bread which was the best i have ever eaten. We both ordered the grouper special, and it was phenomenal. By the time we were finished eating the restaurant was 3/4's full, mind you this was a Tuesday night. I guess we were just officially called the "early birds" If you want a GREAT meal, stop here, its well worth it.!!!! we cant wait to come back next summer! Service was 10 Star.........!!!
Made a reservation through trip advisor because I wanted the lamb as shown on the menu and so I clicked reserve direct from the app. We arrived a little early and there was plenty of tables but were told we would be seated at 7:45, the time of our reservation and about 10 minutes (Ok fair enough). The menu didn’t have the lamb, that was for the downstairs guests. We didn’t feel like waiting another 30-45 minutes so we decided to stay and order from the scaled down menu provided. I got the catch of the day with a salad and she got the filet. The salad tasted good but as very basic ~a 1/4 head of lettuce (literally), a couple slices of radish, bacon bits (really made the salad), and dressing. What?? Where was the tomatoes, cucumbers, baby spinach, and greens. All MIA. The grouper was fabulous and totally redeemed the place from a 1 star to a 3. They burnt the filet and tasted horrible. All in all we won’t go back.
